 Chris Hughes

Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition & Dietetics) (Honors)
Accredited Practising Dietitian/AN

Chris is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian with the Dietitians Association of Australia. He graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2010 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Nutrition & Dietetics. Chris has since worked in regional Queensland working as a Chronic Disease Dietitian for Queensland Health and in private practice managing a broad range of health conditions. Chris's passion for Diabetes has seen him complete his Post-Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and is in the process of becoming credentialled. Chris has also completed the Sports Dietitian's Australia, Sports Nutrition Certificate. 

Additionally, Chris has written a book called The Tweaking Diet. The Tweaking Diet is a book aimed at showing people that weight loss is achievable without the need to adopt the latest fad diet.  

Chris's passion for dietetics is fueled by his fascination of the effect nutrition has on every cell of the body. Chris enjoys most sports, including rugby league, golf and kayaking.

Rebecca Cubbage

Bachelor of Human Nutrition, Masters of Dietetics
Accredited Practising Dietitian/AN

Rebecca is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with the Dietitian’s Association of Australia. She graduated from the University of Canberra in 2015 with a Bachelor of Human Nutrition and a Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics. Rebecca has since worked as a Clinical and Foods Service Dietitian at a Private Hospital in the Australian Capital Territory and in Private Practice in Regional Queensland managing various health conditions and diseases. Rebecca’s strengths revolve around her passion to support, inspire and educate individuals and groups to achieve their health goals and manage or reduce risk of disease.
Rebecca’s special areas of interest include paediatric nutrition where she is looking to further her knowledge with post-graduate study.
Rebecca says she is loving the laidback lifestyle and the easy going nature of the people in the region. She has acclimatised well to the tropical climate in Central Queensland, and having recently reunited with her dog Azzie, is looking forward to the adventures that the region has to offer.

Rachel Vandenberg

Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics
Accredited Practising Dietitian/AN

Rachel is an accredited practicing dietitian (APD) with the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA). Rachel graduated from Griffith University, Gold Coast in 2017 with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics. Rachel’s inspiration to become a dietitian stems from her desire to help clients discover how an adequate and balanced diet can help prevent and manage chronic disease and positively influence an individual’s overall health.

Rachel’s main interests include diabetes, heart disease, weight loss/gain and food intolerances. Rachel is a firm believer that dietetic care should be provided with a personalised approach to help clients meet their goals. Away from work, Rachel’s interests include camping, exploring new places, listening to music and the beach.

Hayley Parker

Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics
Accredited Practising Dietitian/AN

Hayley is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with the Dietitian’s Association of Australia. Hayley graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics. Hayley grew up in South West Queensland on a farm surrounded by heavy machinery and dry land crops, including wheat, sorghum and chickpeas. Hayley is passionate about all things nutrition. She says she is eager to plant the seed of nutrition and develop strong foundation roots of nutrition knowledge that will nurture her client’s journey to a healthy lifestyle. In her spare time, Hayley enjoys spending time with her two cattle dogs, playing sports, creating recipes, sewing, and riding her motorbike.  

Stacey Hughes - Business Manager

Bachelor of Business Management

Stacey graduated from Central Queensland University with a bachelor's degree in Business Managment. Stacey is a long time Central Queensland resident, and currently juggles the busy schedule of managing a growing practice and a young family. 

Stacey is passionate about local business and enjoys endurance running when time permits. 

Sharnee Pakleppa - Practice Manager

Sharnee is a migrant to Central Queensland, having grown up in Western Australia. Sharnee has work in the Allied Health field for many years, and knows what is required to keep a succesful practice running.

Sharnee also juggles the rigours of work and caring for a young family.  

Sharnee's passion away from work is definitely her love of country music.
